Options for applying for perm visa after WHV
I am asking this on behalf of my sister-in-law who has been in Australia for one month on a working holiday visa.
What would be her options to stay longer after the year? I know she can do 3 months farm work to get another year, but she is more keen to try & stay permanently and go down the route of applying for permanent residence.
Are the 2 options studying or getting sponsorship from an employer?
Has anyone had experience of these routes and have any details / advice please?
Thanks

She doesn't have a skill on the occupation list

Has she checked the CSOL as well as the SOL? The CSOL is quite extensive. If she is not in an occupation on either of the lists, then permanent immigration through job /work is not going to be possible. In this case, her only option would be if she meets an Aussie!
If she does find her job is on the CSOL, then state sponsored skilled migration and employer sponsorship open up. Note that being sponsored by a employer is generally a temporary thing though.
Studying is unlikely to achieve anything other than put a dent in her bank balance.
