Default online visa application

Hi all

Just a quick qtn....if you are applying online, can you upload copies of your documents or do you have to sent them separate and get them certified.

Hi

I am doing mine online and as far as I am aware they can be scanned in original documents/colour (not certified) and if they are copies rather than originals they need to be certified.

Good Luck

Hi Debbie,

With online applications, you can scan in and upload coloured copies of documents which don't need to be certified, however, if they are black and white copies they do.

Our email auto-notification following our application lodgement stated :

"The ASPC accepts scanned copies of original documents (non-certified) provided they are in colour. If you scan documents in black and white, then they must be scanned copies of the certified copies. The valid file types for attaching documents are BMP, DOC, DOT, GIF, JPG, PDF, RTF, TXT and XLS."

Hope this helps and good luck!

Teresa

Might be the file size. If its over 1Mb (I think its 1Mb, might be 2) it won't upload.

Are you sure it is 300 MB?? it must be awfully long or scanned at a very high resolution. Either way, 1 MB is the limit for the uploads. Consider splitting it up, resampling with lower res - 96 dpi is minimum thats acceptable
