Default Online application. Documents to upload.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for all the help.

I am thinking of choosing the online method for visa application. It seems to be a great time saver.

Now my questions is, what all documents to sent (or uploaded) in an online application.

I am gonna sent 'em everything that I sent to ACS including my degrees, transcripts but I am only worried about the employment reference letter which is on my company's letterhead and was 'addressed to ACS' for skills assessment.

Can I scan and upload the same ref letter which I sent to ACS or do I have to prepare a new one for DIMIA?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

The ACS reference will be fine, it doesn't matter that it was addressed to ACS - it's the content that counts.

Good luck with your application

Do these references inc. how long you are working with the company and your salary etc? I would suggest if you can to get a reference from hr reference also.

Just thinking, If you have a worry about going to HR you could always tell them that you need the letter for mortgage purposes etc. A copy of your contract and some recent payslips would be worth uploading also.

thank you, mairead. your reply is very much appreciated.

on my senior colleagues references, it includes how long I have been working, position at work, number of hours worked per week, job trainings, and veiws on how I perform my duties at work.

I also have managed to get a certificate of employment from the HR but it does not state my start date. It states though that I am on a continous contract, my position, and my salary scale.

and by the way, I'm sorry I forgot to say I'm applying for a 457 e-visa.

thanks again.

oh......silly me. it's not from HR that the letter has come from. It was from the Directorate Office of the Department that I work in. I will contact HR on tuesday to get a certificate with regards to my employment details.

thanks

Not sure if this is correct, but we were told to get a more updated reference than the original one we sent to the TRA.

Please let me know if this is incorrect as I am sure some nice person out there knows more than me.

Kind regards Lou xxx

Best bet is to follow your agents advice especially if you don't have a problem with getting a revised reference. We did not do this and our refs were written in Oct/Nov 07. However I did include recent payslips to show that my OH was still with the same company.
