Online Application ... Do I need to upload certified documents?
 

Hi All,

Please help me!!!! I couldn't find clarification on DIAC site.

I applied for 176 online and now want to upload documents. But I am not sure which of below should I follow:
1) Scan original documents and upload them.
2) Create photo copies of original docs and get them certified. Then Scan certified documents and upload them.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

If you have a colour scanner & they are colour copies of original documents, then they do not need to be certified...eg police clearances, bio passport page.

If they are photocopies of documents that you then are scanning, then they do need to be certified.

Rule of thumb is :
- If original documents are colored, scan them in colour and upload them
- If original documents are Black and White, then upload the notorised photocopies.

Its all in immigration website! i dunt understand why people keep asking such a naive question here!! Its like they are nursery student!! You u want to apply by urself then plz do read the main things that need to be read!!! Go and read throughly at (www.immi.gov.au).
