One Way Travel Insurance

Another insurance question!

Tried to do a search on this, but didn't come up with much.

I do not think we are covered on our normal travel insurance because we are going one way. Has anyone encountered this problem, and if so how did they cover themselves?

FYI we are spending a weeks holiday in Singapore on the way - don't know if this muddies the waters at all!

Thanks

Mark, Kelly, Phoebe & Maisie

Hi Mark, Kelly, Phoebe & Maisie,

We have insurred through Barclaycard with no problems also phoned the Post Office and they did it as well (Barclaycard were cheaper). They have insured us from when we leave home until we arrive in Brisbane and we also are having a holiday in Singapore.

Thanks for that - will look into our current insurer to see if they can accommodate us.

Out of interest, when are you in Singapore and Brisbane - we may be able to meet up. We leave UK 28 Sept, 5 days in Sentosa in Singapore, arrive Brisbane Friday 4 Oct (quite late). We are staying in aprtments in Brisbane for 4 weeks while we sort ourselves out - what are you doing?

Mark (and the family)!
