One month tenancies

We have our flights booked to Sydney for the 11th of October but were
wondering what everyone did for accomodation when they landed?

We don't want to tie ourself down to a 6 month tenancy straight away as the
choice of where we live and the type of property will obviously be dictated
by the amount of money we end up earning and I'm sure that I saw some stuff
on here in the past 6 months that mentioned agents who do one month
tenancies especially for migrants.

Am I imagining that or do such tenancies exist? If not, what have most
people done? Surely not stayed in Hotels??!

Hi we are going for holiday and have been looking up similar info
most short lets prefer 3 month tenancy plus a large bond-some we saw were $400-800 per week but up to $4500 bond for houses in sydney
check out domain.com.au for the holiday section under rentals or ozstay.com (not sure about correct addy)
alternatively try looking for corporate or exec on internet, as these cater to short term visits
