Already got the approval of the business side of things so now its just my visa side. Still waiting on Police clearances to come through, from Aus and from South Africa.

Hi there

I did as you mentioned - used 2231-79 as the code for the 175 application and then I sent them a PLE advising them that it was Unix Specialist and therefore also CSL...I dont know if this is the right or wrong way but everything I could find on various forums suggested this was the way to go..I would be really interested as to how you interpreted the specific versus recent work experience portion..feel free to PM me

Hi All

I just wondered if anyone here has already filled in Form 80 - especially those who are going back a fair way... When I submitted my application, after payment option it gave me couple of options like link for filled form to print, link to receipt etc... where can I find those links again ?

You damn need to take print just upload the docs. As you will receive acknowledgment email from DIAC.

Hello friends,

I commenced my application online for 176 relative sponsored visa on 13th oct 09. Everytingz goin fine....uploaded all required documents....completed my medicals as mentioned in the checklist and my medicals went for further processing in sydney on 4.11.09. I hvnt got any case officer but just m in a situation of "wait & watch" till further moves.

I am surprised y in the initial stage only it was mentioned to complete my medicals in my checklist. It was showing 'Health check outstanding' , so i dowloaded the relevent forms attachd and completed my medicals. Hope wat I had done is correct as i hv heard that medicals should be done only after the case officer tells. lets c.

Would like to know more about documents to be attached for 'specific work experience' ie i hv to show for 36 months exp. As per my experience i can evaluate that its matching with those on SOL. But dont know whether the CO will agree with me or not. If not wat wud be the consequences?

The further processing message you saw would have been triggered by you uploading documents, it is far too soon for anyone to have actually started to look at your file.

Everybody has medicals outstanding or medicals required when they lodge an application. This is because thay will be required at some point. It doesn't mean they are required right then. If you are fortunate your medicals will not expire before your application is assessed. Unfortunately it means you will have a shorter window for validating your visa as that will usually be a year from date of medicals and police checks.

DIAC will want employment references covering the 36 months of specific work experience, in same format as the reference covering the last 12 out of 24 months. If they are not satisfied that it is eligible then I guess you won't get the points for it.

Hi Bermuda,

for reference letter, following is my personal situation.

For skill assessment, I have to prepared reference letter, and I requested
my reported manager to sign the refernce letter on thist June.

At that moment, my work experience is "33" months.

I just received skill assessment result, and will start online pr visa application soon, do you need to request my manager to resign the same reference letter
with "present" print date to prove my "36" specific work experience for 15 points?

Or, DIAC will refer to my recent monthly payslip, then CO will know my specific work experience.

Please kindly advise me, thanks.

I would recommend obtaining an experience letter that covers all 36 months if you can.

i know its too early to ask this question but out of curiosity, any idea when CO will be allocated....?
