I have informed the CO that i will pay the VAC 2 for my wife instead of making the IELTS test.
i feel that it took long time compare to other applicants with same situations:
I am in CSL+MODL

I've just added my timeline above. Thanks to you all in this forum for the lively activity and encouraging messages and help.

My VE 176 was granted on 22-Jan-2010 with initial entry deadline 12-Jun-2010.

My application date was 24-Oct-2009. Police certificate and Meds were in November-2009.

Hence my initial entry date must be somewhere November-2010. Wonder why I wasn't given the usual 1-year window. Anyone else had the same like me? A shorter time window of 141 days for initial entry? Just curious if I was singled out or is it common.

The usual reason for an entry date only about 6 months ahead is when you've been asked to sign a health undertaking. However the only person that knows the real anser is the case officer. Its "normal" to get 12 months from meds/pcc but there is no hard and fast rule.

Thanks Pollyana. There was no complication with my health check. All went OK and were simply 'met'. So as you've said it will only be the case officer who will know the reason.

Not that I am overly worried, but a little time would have been better to plan my move.

I was just being curious how many others were in the same boat as me.

15th Jan 2010 : infront of " Bio " + " Oversease education " and Experience they wrote further checking required .

18th Jan 2010 : infront of every doc they changed as "" MET " except the Mediical

till now i am waiting for a medical call. Put ur comments on situation through which i am suffering. Would CO do Job verification or other measures because they changed the status as "MET".
