Hi Sharon,

that's the CSL (critical skills lists) at the moment:

However, there are rumours that it will be amended or even replaced or suspended before the end of this month.

So, if you are a secondary teacher, then you are on CSL and will be processed with priority 3 (http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...processing.pdf).

And I think it does not hurt if your sister goes ahead and already provides the necessary documents for family sponsorship from her side (don't know too much about family sponsorship though).

Hi all

We submitted 175 online on 13/10/09 from the UK under 2122-11 Quantity Surveyor which is on CSL and MODL lists following AIQS assessment done 22/7/09.

Received acknowledgement email for application and uploaded all docs except Form 80 on 07/11/09 but nothing since. Do you think absence of Form 80 is holding this up or is it just the fact that we have opted for the 175 and appear around 3 or 4 out of 5 on the priority application listing. Would be nice to have some news for Christmas

It seems the September applicants are moving along quite fast. Around 8 to10 weeks for a CO since date of application.

Any of our October people getting somewhere ?

Heard nothing yet (even not from my sponsorship, I'm desperately trying to get any confirmation from NSW that they have forwarded form 1100 to DIAC - but everybody seems to be on holiday, so I probably have to wait some more ...)
But I did my medicals yesterday, PCC is also already uploaded - so if a CO eventually turns up, everything's already there

received Request for Full Documents. What is your opinion, how long will it take for Medicals req. after i submit my docs ?

What is the timeline?

Thank You ! To be on safe I will file PLE. Otherwise, it make lot of difference in timeline with or without CSL. May be in coming 6 months they remove CSL also.

A question to Matrisha. I have a very similar timeline of documents submission to yours.
I am wondering why you have done your PCC and medicals since everywhere I read is that you do them only when your CO requests you to do them? Another question: did you apply for the NSW SS hoping that it will speed up your PR application? I am thinking about it myself and I am wondering if it is a good idea.
