Occupations on the new SOL
 
Skills Australia's "National Workforce Development Strategy" was published today:

Check page 83 and 84, and the foot-note on page 83.

All the occupations or occupation groups are there which the new SOL will include.

I cannot find there an entire group: 2231 COMPUTING PROFESSIONALS.
I'm wrong?

The codes used in this "Strategy" are ANZSCO unit code numbers and not ASCO codes!

im a cabinetmaker
dont see this
do see carpenter and joiner
and woodmachineist and other wood trades, i wonder will other wood trades include cabinet maker, what do ye think?

Glad the Wall and Floor Tiling's still there too, thats what i'm looking at doing, but as expected Hairdresser and all cook's pastry cook's etc have gone..
Gonna be a lot of disappointed students out there. :thumbdown:

Electrical Engineers and dentists (my wife) are still there. Hopefully they will be still there on new SOL to be announced !!!!!!! Gt my IELTS : 8.5(L), 8(R), 6.5(S), 6.5(W), 7.5 (Overall) do you think I will have to re take IELTS? As of now I am falling short of 5 points !!!!!

What will be the fate of "Network Security Professionals" which have already got CO and asked for medical (but requested for delay due to pregnancy and allowed till 30.07.10) after the new SOL.

My career is there 'children's centre manager' now just have to wait for the official list before applying.

But in this document not a huge IT Occupation list is there including most of IT professions which were on MODL in near Past.
