Default NZ Immigration

Hello, I am Shefali Mitra. I am MBA (Pune Univ.) with 12 yrs. experience. I am trying
for NZ immi. Can any one help me with following points? -
1) How is Work Experience calculated? ie whether related with yr. specialisation?
2) Does being an MBA makes me eligible not 2 go 4 IELTS 4 English fluency?
3) How are work experience & other certificates verified/ crosschecked?

Do let me know. I am almost done with all reqd. documents. Regards, Shefali.

As a fresher why don't you visit www.immigration.govt.nz?

It is the official NZIS (New Zealand Immigration Service) website and they were wise enough to put all information/forms up there. For any literate person, application process for PR to NZ is a piece of cake...

Usually people from the subcontinent are asked to take IELTS no matter what proof of proficiency you show. Take the test before applying. It saves a lot of time, effort and anxiety.

By the way are u a Bengali and based at Calcutta?

I tried to browse thru the www.immigration.govt.nz site, but couldn't find answer to
my question below:

Do I need to send the application for Skilled migration only to the embassy in the
country that I reside, or can I send it to any NZ embassy anywhere else which is
faster(Ofcourse which are listed in the website)?

PS: Please don't reply asking me to look at www.immigration.govt.nz. I have already
seen that, but it doesn't answer my question.

Thanks.

Try a bit harder next time: www.immigration.govt.nz/migrate has the following. The
links will take you to a page where you can find the appropriate office to lodge your
application.

How Should I Lodge My Application? Your application must include all required
documentation to be accepted for processing.

Therefore, it is important that you read and understand the information available,
especially the relevant Application Guides and any application checklists prepared by
the New Zealand Immigration Service Office processing your application.

You are responsible for supplying information that demonstrates you meet the
residence policy.

There is an application fee for all categories of residence application. Outside New
Zealand, fees are usually paid in local currency. These fees are not refundable and
can change without notice.

General information about fees, and where to lodge your application can be
found here.
