Hi, I am originally from the UK currently in NZ awaiting my citizenship.

Want to know what paperwork I have to do before heading off to Australia once I get my citizenship confirmed?

No additional paperwork is needed but you do not become a New Zealand citizen until you have attended a citizenship ceremony.

Technically if the only reason you are becoming a NZ citizen is to move to Australia you made a false declaration when you signed the citizenship forms which is pretty obviously an offence in NZ law with consequences, so I'd keep your intentions to move to Australia quiet.

Leaving for Australia the day after becoming an NZ citizen could well indicate a false declaration of intention to reside in New Zealand. Perhaps also unwise to post such intentions on a public forum.
