Default NSW state sponsorship 2231-11 question

2231-11 systems manager is a general category.... how NSW establish whether one is an oracle specialist or not... my reference letter is about 1.5 years ago when i got the assesment done thruu ACS and my employer might not give me a new letter quoting i am still working on oracle... would a CV suffice the cause or any other possible option .. a statutory declaration from myself writing my current job responsibilities and if yes, how could that be verified if verified at all by state
regards

Based on your previous posts you don't appear to meet the requirement as you don't have 3 years Oracle experience?

Well that doesn't appear to meet the criteria. I would read the requirement as 3 years Oracle database administration specialisation. And you also say you've been doing it for 1.5 years, not 3 years. And you've said you've just applied for a 2231-71 CISSP assessment.

2231-79 CISSP
yes am a CISSP and being a CISSP , ISC2 the governing body vouches my six year IT experience and i will get a positive assesment for that from ACS surely
i v read in migration regulations act 1984(i think the reference is right) that you can nominate an occupation at the time you lodge ur application or at the time your application is being decided so i would try and convince DIAC of considering me as CSL + MODL with my new assesment...
i agree the oracle DBA thing is not worth targeting coz i dint qualify for that ....

for ur info NSW is now charging 240$ for nomination. Further, you cant apply to NSW without the skill assessment in ur desired asco code.

Also NSW considers whether ur skills and experience will enable you to get employement in NSW or not. I understand that advisory opinion is taken from a board which comprises industry personell as well, so its not just about experience letters from employers, the quality of ur experience is judged as well
