I've got my GRANT MAIL today....

I wanted to thank you all for your help and information which were very usefully to me. BE is just fabulous. A lot of good informations in one place!

My timeline:

20 Nov 08 - IELTS
10 Nov 09 - Successfully assessed as an Chemical Engineer by IEAUST
19 Nov 09 - Applied for VE 175 (uploaded all documents expect medicals) - CSL & MODL, HR country (Slovenia)
05 Feb 10 - Application status changed to Application being processed further
12 Apr 10 - Police checks sent
14 Apr 10 - Medicals undertaken and sent to HOC
15 May 10 - Health requirements finalized
21 May 10 - all doc status MET
22 Jun 10 - VISA GRANTED initial entry until 12 Apr 11

No need of additional documents and no job verification!
CO Team 6!

It's been more than 11 weeks since I handed in the last of my documents (PCC) and there's still no news from DIAC. No updates on the DIAC status inquiry page as well; all documents still shown as "REQUIRED" rather than "MET". Kinda getting impatient now. Anyone waiting even longer than me?

Hi we applied on 11th November 09 and have not heard a thing since.
We have ss (vic) plumber. just wondered if any plumbers were in the same boat.

Hi,i can see my status for online visa was "Application being processed further" on april 2010,does this means now a case officer will be assigned to me.can u help me in understanding

are u sure,also if this is true then how much time they take as its is 3months have passed so any idea how much time they take

No, it means exactly what it says. Your application is being processed further. That may or may not mean you have a CO. No way of telling. See the sticky thread at the top of the forum.

You will get some emails from the team when CO is assigned.

just one more thing actually this july i had reassed my skill n now im in CSL,MODL.Have intimated DIAC last week,can you tell me now how much time DIAC will take?
will now MODL,CSL will fasten my visa proccessing

Sorry mate, no more CSL and MODL are there, but yeah recently it has been abserved that DIAC is clearing CSL cases. It varies from case to case.
