Its nothing wrong.Otherwise,take option 2.It can be done within 10 to 15 days.(Indian standard of getting passport in fast mode)

It is not correct. Transferring from one passport to other means getting a visa sticker initially on one passport and later on when changing the passport (could be due to any reason like passport lost, passport expired etc.), get new sticker on new passport. It is hasstle free task. Now a days, Australia uses e-visa that means sticker has no value in travel point of view and actually visa record is computerized.
So my suggestion is get visa label on your current passport and if you get new passport before travel, just inform new passport information to local Australian embassy and they will update it in their record. You can get new visa sticker anytime after arriving in Australia. Just go to DIAC office with your passports and it will be endorsed on spot.

While Australia will alllow e visa/travel without stickers,we need to be careful abour originating country.If Vsuccess has already come across such cases,we will follow his opinion.

yeah, for the sake of originating country, they check eligibility of traveller online. In case of having problems going to airline check-in counter, he can show visa on his old passport.

I have lodged my application on 7/11/2009 and i received an Email from CO requesting Additional documents such as Employement Evidence,Medicals, and PCC.
I have submitted all the documents except PCC from malaysia and recently received an email from Team 4 that my Application will be assessed on April 30th,
I dont think i will be getting my PCC from Malaysia by April 30th , please suggest me what should i do.

did you have job verification from DAIC?
what document did you send for Employement Evidence ?

Anybody applied for India PCC from US. Now I am in US on B1 Visa. I will be 3 months in US. I would like to save my time. My immi agent asked me to get PCC from Indian police. So, I would like apply from US itself. I am an Indian Citizen. Please share your experience on this. If I can apply this, how long it will take and what is the process.
