1) Sometimes 1300 works from abroad, sometimes it doesn't.
2) Its a DIAC call centre.95% of replies are wrong or misleading (as documented on here!) and they cannot and will not put you through to your case officer.
3) If you are getting no reply from your case officer I suggest you re-email the query as a PLE, clearly stating FAO Case Officer X and any reference number that you have. And ask politely for them to respond and say that they have received it.
