Smile Newbie - just want to say hi

Well, having recently returned from our 4th holiday in Oz, my hubby and I have finally decided its time to enter this minefield of immigration!

I've spent many hours over the past few years researching what we might need to do but each time it seems there's something else I've not thought of - so confusing!! I'm therefore hoping that by joining this site, you fellow "experts" might be able to guide me through the process in order to preserve my sanity (or not!!).

Anyway, first things first, just reading up on getting our skills assessed! Here goes!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathryn

Welcome and good luck!!
Hopefully you'll find this site really helpful and friendly, I have and its certainly stopped me from boring friends and family to death as they can only listen to so much visa talk before falling asleep.
At least on here, everyone is in the same boat, with a very shared interest in all things to do with emigration.
And I can't actually see that I've bored them to tears, either

Welcome Kathryn!

You sound pretty clued up already. Most newbies don't know that they need skills assessments!

I promise you, there are lots of lovely helpful people on here who will help you as much as they can ............but...............you will still go insane........

Just accept it!

Good luck with your assessments - what are you applying for?
