New Skilled Occupation Lists
The official version of the new SOL is here: http://www.comlaw.gov.au/ComLaw/legi...le/10026LI.pdf .
Schedule 1 is the current SOL using ANZSCO, and Schedule 2 is for overseas students
Schedule 3 is the new SOL for overseas applicants (page 29), and Schedule 4 (page 37) is the list of occupations which may be state sponsored.
The table contains relevant occupations, points and assessing authorities. The column for "Country" refers to whether it's a trade assessable by Vetassess or TRA.
Cheers,
George Lombard

Linky thing not working?
If my occupation is on the list will it mean I may get a case officer sooner than 2012?

Thanks a lot George.. have they released any mapping table between the old and new codes - for those currently being assessed and those who currently hold positive assessments...

Dear OD,
No the planned "concordance" hasn't materialised yet, although if you compare Schedule 1 - the old SOL - and Schedule 2 - the old SOL expressed in ANZSCO terms - you might be able to derive some relevant conclusions.
Cheers,
George Lombard

Sorry if I appear to be a little confused but I have just been looking through the new list and Chef/Cook is back on this list. Does this mean I can now complete the Job Ready Program(just finished my studies) and apply for GSM?
Kind Regards

Ah, the usual list put together by half wits i see. A economy heavily reliant on its mining industry and Geologist 50 points. Hairdresser 60 points.
