New 3/5 year parent visa?
Hi all,
Towards the end of last year there was a lot of press about a new parent visa that would allow parents to stay up to three years at a time:
Australian government announces 5-year parent visa | SBS Your Language
Does anyone know whether this is going ahead and when it will be available/conditions etc?

The traditional date for changes is July 1st, so it's worth checking in then, but it's anybody's guess at this point as to when exactly this will be enacted - it may be way off yet.
