need some help please! (Complicated!)
I’m wondering if anybody can please help me?
I feel like I’ve been googling forever and getting nowhere!
Basically I got granted permanent residency in 2003.. (i was 11 yo) I moved to Australia with my family in June 2003, where I stayed till feb 2010.
in 2010 I returned to the UK as a family member had cancer. He passed away after 12 months. During those 12 months I met my now husband, we had two children together.
So, 8 years on.. I want and need to return to Australia.
we will need to apply for the spouse visa for my husband and visas for my children.
Trouble is, I can’t apply for the resident return visa, as I haven’t lived in Australia for two years in the last 5.
We have visited twice in the last 3 years.
My main reason for having to return is my sister , who remained there, has a severely disabled daughter.. her husband has serious back problems and he has been struggling to lift their daughter and deal with her needs. My sister needs my help in caring for my niece. I need to be there for her.
So, what visa do I look at applying for? Or who do I get in touch with about it?

When you visited what visa did you travel on?

That could be an issue. There is a principle that a person can only hold one visa, so, one visa cancels previous visas. So, there is a risk, you visitor visas have cancelled your PR. You should go to vevo to check.
if your PR is still valid, then I would recommend attempting a rrv, if that is refused or your PR has been cancelled then you will need to qualify in your own right for a PR visa.
