Hi all
One of the criteria is to prove sufficient ability in the English Language
for working in Australia. How to prove that I am a native English speaker?
I have GCE O and A level from Cambridge and have a Master degree from
Australia. I have been working in IT for the past 10 year, the mode of
communication is English. Is this sufficient? What other evidence required
to provide that I am a native English speaker?
Thanks in advance

If you are born in the UK, and if you are British, you would be considered a native English speaker.

I believe that if you have any doubt that they would question your English speaking ability, then things like education records/certificates will suffice.
But as Peter says, if you grew up in, and were educated in an English speaking country (such as the UK), it shouldn't be a problem. You could always contact DIMIA to ask them about your specific circumstances if you're unsure.

The Australian, Points Test - Skilled Migration website describes Vocational English 15 Points and Comptent English 20 Points.
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/skill_points.htm#4
For what it's worth the website http://www.liveinaustralia.com (presumably a migration agent's website) allocates 20 points to those who enter either 'Very Good' or 'Native Speaker'.
Perhaps the question is how do you demonstrate a 'Very Good' or 'Competant' command of English IF one is not a Native English speaker.
I'd say the fact that you have completed a University level qualification in English wouldn't harm your claim.
Sorry if that's no help.

As in the Skilled independent booklet you've got high level education
from an university where the medium was English. Therefore your proof
is good enough
