Default My Mechanic Qualification

Hey,

I currently hold a City & Guilds Level 3 in motor vehicle repair, unfortunately I didn't do an apprenticeship because there wasn't any around at the time but I would have loved to have done one.

With that can I still emigrate to Australia on a skilled migration visa, I've looked on their website but either I'm not looking hard enough or it's a little complicated, I have around 10 months of work experience but I will hopefully have about 5 years or more before I attempt it.

Thanks in advance

Don't think you necessarily need an apprenticeship, but given the limited experience, and time frame you are looking at, the rules could change. Best thing is to get some experience under your belt and keep records of useful information such as job descriptions, wage slips, etc as they will make the process easier when the time comes.
