My case officer has an enormous backlog of mail!!!
Just spoke to the AHC again, and was told that my case officer A Sharma has
an enormmous backlog of mail and I just have to wait. sent my meds and
police check in mid july spouse visa.
Any ideas what to do now, greatly appreciated.

My sister and hubbie have been quoted a 5 month postal backlog wait. Hopefully it's just their sick sense of humour??
Are you skilled team 1 or 2? I dont know the name of my caseworker (sound like cons dont we?)
Let us know if anyone sheds any light.
Sold my house today and leave my job in 3 weeks so if this is case we are stuffed.

Hi all!
Could someone please tell me, How do you go about finding out who your case officer is? and if emailing them to find out about the progress of your application is a good idea or not !! my application was received in Adelaide in early May but weve heard nothing yet, apart from acknowledgement! We have just applied for STNI to the Vic. Gov. too. so there are loads of q's i'd like to ask our case officer! Thanks for any info!
Cheers!

yeh London too.
Must be luck of the draw, cause timleine shows some visa (Spouse) granted in
a couple of weeks/days in some cases.

Hello,
Really annoyed just typed you out a reply - computer froze - starting again - please ignore spelling mistakes.
You can ring Adelaide and see if someone will inform you of who your case officer is - see Snickers thread "Phoned Adelaide" for the number.
Until you STNI app is signed off with DIMIA I don't think much will happen - correct me someone.
Once we had been all signed off on the STNI we waited about 5 weeks for req for meds ect and when I actually got our agent to speak to us he said that was about normal.
Let us know exactly what stage you at and maybe us and others on this forum will be able to help.
After all that's what it's all about, helping each other and offering support so you don't go completely mad waiting for your visa.
