Default MONTFORT ... Financial advice - any recent dealings

We are hoping to move to Australia by the end of the year. Visa sorted.
House is on the market, but not sold... We are considering renting it out.

We are just wondering if anyone has had any recent dealings with MONTFORT international? Geraint DAVIES

We are concerned about various tax issues, CGT and our pensions and feel we need to get proper advice. .. Obviously this comes at a price... Does £1250 sound reasonable.

Moving to the other side of the world is so exciting and scary... We want to make the right decisions for our future.. TIA

These threads certainly aren't recent, but may be of interest http://britishexpats.com/forum/austr...al-plc-190832/ http://britishexpats.com/forum/austr...-right-256725/

Have just googled both Montfort International and Geraint Davies. Lots and lots of reviews - I'd read them

Bargepoles and not touching come to mind.

For advice on what to do I would recommend speaking to an accountant with knowledge of both Australian and UK tax laws. Try Go Matilda. Alan Collett is an accountant as well as a migration agent, so would be who I would speak to.
