MODL clarification
Hi Members,
I have little question of MODL. Will someone get MODL point? if letter said that
Your skills have been assessed suitable under code 2231-79
and also
state that Based on provided documents ACS have opinion that this applicant have 12 months exp in Oracle/Java etc, it means that applicant got modl point right ?
plz give ur comments.

Although, i have read on DIMA site and have sent off application assuming that i have got modl point but just wanna confirm.

Yes I think u got the MODL point if Oracle/Java is in the list

Not wishing to alarm you but I applied for my assessment with Oracle certificates etc but got a bland ASCO Code of 2231-79 non modl.Then again it wasn't so obviuos in my application. I am now seeking a re-assessment for Modl - Oracle because I have plenty of experience, more than 12 months, yet my role is such that Oracle is one of many.I hope- fingers crossed I get the Modl - I need the points because of my experience(age).
Maybe for you, it is obvious that you are well experienced in Java/Oracle. you've probably got the time to wait and see. Original assessment will take 8-10 weeks, if you are not happy you can appeal, that will give you time to get the right documents together(it will be cheaper too - I have to pay $350 again). Immigration are not working that quickly(Not blaming them) simply the process takes time, and time is on your side.

Well KarmaLiber i am surprised why dont they gave u the MODL, as the matter of fact u enough experience in Oracle + plus certifications in Oracle? may be your employer references were not as per the ACS guideline? just let me know? i gonna apply to ACS assessment for MODL in Java as i got degree plus more than 4 yrs experience in Java but no certification?
Amir u also let me know u applied for the ACS or not?
