Missed Travel Time
I was given a timelimit of 6 months to enter Australia, which expired in early December 2004. However at the same time, due to family issues, I was not able to enter Aus, during which time I also acquired a British Citizenship. Do you think I will able to make an appeal to get a new date of entry stamped on my British Passport (as the Indian one is no longer valid - corners have been cut-off)? Any help will be very much appreciated.

- your visa hasn't yet been cancelled by DIMIA; and
- you've got a pretty good reason for not validating; and
- you are prepared to do medicals and police checks again.
