Hello everybody,

A quick seach on Google
(http://www.google.com/search?q=%2Bau...consultants%22) offers lots
of hits on Migration Consultants...

Generally, they offer all-in migration services to Australia which may cost over 3000 Aus$

1) Did anybody use these services? Are you happy with them?
2) What's a reasonable price?
3) Who would you recommend?

Thank you, Richard.

I was hoping that a local agent would speed up the process...

Is this naive? Sombody any positive/negative experiences?

A migration agent does not speed up the process as such however they are aware of all
requirements and so avoid delays caused by 'amateur mistakes. Ensure that if you do use an
agent that he/she is registered. Regards,

Steve

A quick search on the Migration Agents Registration Authority site should do the trick

www.themara.com.au

I used an agent to make sure my application went through correctly , I would not use the
same agent again though. There are plenty of agents posting in this ng,all I think are
registered. Confirm with the agent you use that you will recieve regular updates on your
application - ours left us in the dark and at one stage I felt as though I was ignored.

Cheers

Russell

Depending on your background, it could simply be a very simple process and anyone could do
it. Are you applying under Skilled or Business migration ? If Business, I agree that you
may need expert advise but if you are applying under Skilled, keep your money. I am an
accountant and applied on my own without any hassles.

Best of luck.
