Cool Mig.regs.sched.8 Condition ?

Hi, Today I got my PR stamped. On my sticker it is written Visa Condition Mig.regs.sched.8. Can someone tell me what is this for ? I ask Australian embassy in Malaysia and they answered me that they aren't sure.

Try: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/c...4227/sch8.html

If you have any of the conditions listed (for example Condition 8502 - this used to be common but is no longer common) then you must abide by these regulations.

Nowadays, there are often no conditions listed on the visa label. If there are they will be obvious and be 4 digit numbers.

Good luck.

Well then that should tell you that you don't have any of those conditions attached.

Usually, there is a 4-digit code, with a brief explanation of the condition of the visa.

If there is no 4-digit code, it has the word "NIL" below the words "Condition Mig.regs.sched.8" . This means there are no limitations on your visa.

I would find it very strange if there are no conditions to your visa, seeing that it was issued outside of Australia. All visas issued abroad have a condition of "Initial entry by XXXXX" This condition usually does not have a code.
