How's everyone doin? Not been on the forum for a while been a bit to consumed with settling in to Oz.
Thought I would give eveyone a quick run down on experiences.
Land and hit the ground running. I think thats the best way personally. The one thing they crave for in WA is WA experience the sooner you can get some the better! I'm in IT took me about two weeks to get a contract that was supposed to be for a week training and auditing. spent 5 weeks and ended up travelling WA!
Now got a permenant job working as a Network Administrator for a major company.
Wifes gota job in HR doesn't like it much but studying for her Degree in HR so she's sticking it out. We've just bought a place in Mindarie HUGE bloody mortage but we would be no different in the UK and certainly would not have this view!!!!!!
Life is not a bed of roses where ever you are. Give everything your best shot and she'll be right.
