Ours went by Royal Mail 11th Sept, don't know when they arrived in Sydney, but our Online Status Page has just changed today from "required" to "received". So that's 4 weeks exactly.

Well just to let you know that the immi website has now changed my meds status to "Received". The date aginst this in 8th October so it ended up being about 20 odd days or so.

At least I know they have them which is brilliant news. I just need to wait and see now how long it takes for them to process them and make a decision on the visa.

Hmm....interesting. Do you expect they'll change to finalized? On the first page of our status page is where ours changed from Outstanding to Finalised. The other lines (x ray, report, etc) all changed to received. Maybe having received is all you'll see? Maybe they are processed?

My DH's MEDS have been sitting in a pile at HOC since 24 September 9am - so 20 days today - TUESDAY 14 Oct. No change on his MEDS though.

I'm hoping they'll be processed TOMORROW.

Whoops - I made a mistake and didn't read it properly.

Yes your right - it says received for all the outstanding medical stuff but theres a line above it which says finalised as well. So I'm guessing that means they've received them, checked them out and are happy with them.

The current state seems to be that its all being processed further but I'm not sure if that means its just waiting for the CO to say visa granted??? Under the Entitlement link it does show naything yet.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes from the meds being finalised now.

Actually, I see from your signature line that you know you have CO.

Write your CO and tell them your MEDS have finally cleared....you're next for a VISA, provided everything else is in.....

Thats a good plan - I've always thought twice about hassling the CO becuase I want him to issue the visa and don't want to annoy him so it "accidently" slips down the pile.

Saying that though I think I'll do just that and drop them a line.

Whats the best way of doing this? I don't have his direct email address or do I send it from the contact form on my immi webpage?

Not had to send any contact like this to them before so a bit unsure. Any advice?

The findings of the medical reports would be forwarded to the Case Officer directly by the Local Clearance Unit and the department does not confirm the receipt of the medicals.

this is the process involved between LCU and ASPC: LCU would take between 4 & 6 weeks to clear the medicals and only a report will be sent internally to ASPC and will be kept in the file for the case officer to review. LCU is responsible for reviewing medical examination reports and employs several doctors and specialists. The case officer will be informed by LCU whether an applicant has cleared the medical examinations and as such the panel doctor's report, lab examinations report, x-ray, etc will be retained at LCU.

I got this information from my agent. i am not sure that this is applicable for the online applicants or not. because my application is paper based.

21 days since arriving in Sydney - just like our MEDS!

For the record, his MEDS arrived 24 September and were finalised 15 October

Fantastic news - well done.

I'm going to drop my CO an email today and see if I can't chase him along a bit.

Let me know if anything happens with moving it to "Visa Issued"

I think that's wise to send CO a little note....but maybe wait until MEDS are cleared to do it?

Hi Springonion,

I am in a similar position as you. I had a request from my CO to supply outstanding information - including medicals which had been sent to Sydney.

I uploaded the remaining info via the immi website and waited for the medicals to arrive.

The medicals have since arrived as finalised (30 Sept) on the main page but on the documents required page the medical forms are still listed as 'required' along with the remaining info outstanding.

I am starting to think that the CO is perhaps not aware that all of the info is now there as he had originally given until mid November for me to respond with the info.

I think I might drop a line too - just to nudge it along a bit. Perhaps just get him to confirm that he now has all of the info required and there is nothing else he needs.

Hi guys, my meds are now showing as 'finalised' on our status page. They were received in Sydney on 7th October so it's took exactly 21 days.
Bit confused though as Health Req showing as 'finalised' but medical results showing as 'received'. is this normal?
Does that mean they're all finalised or not? Also, on my document checklist it's still showing as 'Requested'.
Very confusing so any advice would be helpful, please tell me i'm getting close to my visa now!!

Hi, we have had the same as you. It took 21 days for 4 meds to be finalised, then a further 8 days to clear the other 2 meds but the status page said finalised on the first 4 but the other 2 still said received. On the checklist page we still had some things saying requested, that was at 3 this morning but by 7 we had the Visa Grant email through.

So basically they never updated our status page before we got the grant email.

I am a bit worried, Dr sent meds on 17th Sept and 2 weeks ago on the status page 1 changed to finalised and the other 3 are still received. Judging by the timelines on here they seem to taking longer than usual to make their mind up about the other 3 of us!!
I hope something changes overnight as i will be worrying all weekend!
