If there is a choice of doctors/radiolologists in your area, I suggest you shop around them. Down here in Southampton 2 months ago, the chest x-ray was £61.50 and the doctor was £140. On this site, fairly recently, I've seen quote for figures in areas much closer to you though.

Hope this helps

xrays sent direct to health centre by hospital ( they told us we weren't allowed to see them )

we chose to wait 14days it fitted in with existing commitments better

the health centre told us to to arrange the xrays and call them with the xray date they reckoned that it only took
three days for the xrays to arrive from the hospital

speak to Linda at the health centre on the number shown on panel doctors list for more info she was really helpful

hope this is of use

best regards Steve

we are too having our meds in salford on weds as they were cheaper, already had the x-rays at north manchester hospital, they are sending them to salford for weds, costing approx £340 for 2 adults and no sprogs for xrays and meds, depends on the blood tests u require, need more if u have worked in healthcare or have piercings

Hi

Noticed you had your meds done in Southampton. Where did you go and what did it involve as we are near there.
