hi hope someone can answer this quick for me
should i have x-ray first then get medicals done after,or does it really matter coz got meds booked for thurs 18th aug and x-rays booked for 25th aug

You need to get your X-rays done first and take them with you to the medical and give them to the doctor.

Do you just book your xray at the nearest xray dept to you or do you get a request slip from the Dr doing the actual medicals ?? AND, do you pay the xray person at the time of xray??????

You can only go to certain places for Xrays (just like the panel doc) though some centers can do it in the same place. It should tell you on the list of approved Doctors. We had to go to seperate places for ours and paid for both seperately.

Before changing your appointment for your meds why not try changing the xrays to before the meds. Advise them it's for emmigration and you never realised when you booked your appiontment that you need them 1st. We had our xrays done in the morning and the meds in the afternoon

The x-ray has to be done by someone on the list (AFAIK). The list can be found here:

I would be tempted to re-arrange the x-rays around the medical - I believe there's likely to be more flexibility that way.
