Default Medicals for prospective / spouse visa

Hi again, just one more question that I need some help with please.

I am in Aus on a Prospective Spouse visa and have since married my fiance so am now about to apply for a Spouse Visa but am a bit unsure about the medicals and police checks. I think that if they are less than 12 months old that i wont have to re-do them but I havent kept a copy of either of them (doh!) so can I just write on the application that they are still valid from the PS visa and assume that they will just look that up in the records or do I have to have copies of the originals?

Thanks for your replies.

Paul

Even if you had have kept a copy of your PCC they wouldnt have accepted it! Pollyana has gone through this recently - I think she's online so will probably be able to confirm for you one way or another

If your police check and medical are less than a year old you do not have to do them again; DIMIA will have the originals on file, and will use those. I didn't have to supply a copy of my medical (well, you can't anyway cos its sealed), they just referred to the file copy. The police check I did do agin as it was 13 months old.
Beware also - check the amount of time you have spent in Oz, including holidays - if it adds up to 12 months you will need to do an Oz police check.

I did put a note on the checkllist on the form that my medical was still valid.
