Medicals - HIV test for Children?
 
Hi, do children have to give blood for the HIV test? thanks.

Hi All,

Our daughter didn't (12 years old) and neither did our nephew (15 years old) when we did our medicals earlier this year.

I think without being crude that they are not "active", if you know what I mean.

Thank you. Thats great. Ours are a bit younger - so they will be pleased with not needing the get the needle!

Young kids only get a quick once over. The quickest EUR125 a doctor can make :rofl::rofl:

NO. Ours did an eye test, read a bit from a paragraph of teeny writing, doc looked in ears..(to find brain I presume..lol) then felt their tummies, job done.

I believe 16 years old and over must have the HIV test.

My daughter was 15 and had to have it even though not active (that I'm aware of!)
