Hello

I checked our online status last night and it said that our medicals had been finalised on the 15/1. It did not say anything about our Police Checks, which were sent at least a month before the meds. Starting to get really worried now as OH had a few minor convictions from 10 years ago (nothing too serious, no prison or anything like that). Does this mean that they are looking into the police checks further or is it just that the Medicals have been cleared by the department at Sydney and are now being sent to our Case Officer in Adelaide? Also when we flick over to the next page on the online status, it is still saying that the medicals have only been requested and also the penal clearance.

Any ideas with regards to the above would be really really appreciated.

I think what happens is that LCU update the medical bit on the first page but your checklist is not updated until you have a case officer. See quote from an email from ASPC:

"For online lodged applications – your online check list will not
automatically update. It will only be updated when your application is
allocated to and assessed by your case officer"

Hi.......LCU update the medicals.....so good news that they have been finalised
You're basically waiting for your CO to look at your file again before he/she updates your status page to PCC's 'met'

Thanks guys.

We applied in July and got our case officer at the beginning of November.
OH had to go for an ultra-sound after our medicals at the beginning of July and and we had to wait an extra six weeks. The results came back fine though.

So I guess it's just a case of waiting now and the police checks being ok. Thanks again. Just having a stressed morning.
