Default Medicals

Does being overweight have any bearing on the outcome of any medicals?

If so I suppose that as it'll take a while from application date to meds request I've got time to get into shape?

If your medical is for NZ then if you body mass index is over 35 you have to have extra tests......extra tests = extra cash!

Hi Marco121068
i had my medicals last week, i have high blood pressure but took a note from my gp to say it was being controlled by tablets, i was then measured and weighed, doctor said that my body mass index was 34.9 and should really be under 30, but he didn't forsee any real problems
fingers crossed for you and me!
