Hi mates,

Can any one please explain what "Further medical results referred" meant.

Are my reports referred to doctors in aussie for assessment and this happens with everyone and indicates a normal processing. Or, does this meant that DIAC will ask me for more medical reports lately...

Btw, how much time it normally it takes for turning this into finalized

it meansn they have been referred to the medical panel, happens with any medical that has any issue on it, even as routine as asthma.
They may ask for more reports, no way of knowing, and it'll take as long as it takes, again no way of knowing.

2 of our 4 medicals are showing as referred. Our agent told us sometimes they get sent on to the commonwealth panel doctor for clearance. Said it was nothing to worry about.

Really? How about this scenario...Medical received, medical referred, further tests required, medicals finalised and visa denied on medical grounds.

Nothing is certain.

Some people get asked for more tests etc.
My medicals were finalized five months ago but no decosion yet.

Nothing wrong with being positive. So long as people understand that it's not as simple as "medical receieved, medical reffered then medical finalized then u got the visa" and that there are other possible outcomes.

our meds had 1 referral and further evidence was needed. We passed on a letter from a registrar and it was finalised within 2 weeks. as i understand it the doctor puts an A or B on the form as simple as that. if its a B it means that it needs to be looked at. A, just goes straight through, our doctor actually told us this as one member of the family has had operations in the past.

Feel sorry for you. Do u have cace officer? or you had a one? have u submited your medical on C/O request or not? Whts your catogary? Why it took such a long time at your point of view?
