Guys,

Two questions :-

1. How long does it take a Visa label to be inscribed in a Pakistani Passport from the Australian High Commission in Islamabad if one resides in Islamabad (total number of days) ?

2. Does a VE 175 visa holder require a protectorate stamp on the passport ? (I dont think this is required but normally is a requirement for permits) ?

Thanks

1. 7-10 working days generally. See more details in Visa Evidencing section for Islamabad.

2. No. Protectorate stamp is required for Emigrant workers. They are not required for immigration class visas (as per best of my knowledge). Details.

Thanks UZI.I am assuming that apart from the courier charge and the return letter you just have to give the passport and the grant notice and no fee needs to be paid for the label. Is this assumption correct ?

Yes. iirc you will also pay the courier charge when courier deliver your stamped passport back.
