any idea about skilled-Family sponsored visa processing?
i dont see many visa grants for this subclass???
is it true that visa processing for this class is slow????
any idea plz????

It is delayed because of our Country dear ..... nothing will change if you skip for another visa class

We are hoping best in next month july 2010 ..... just 2 days to go

I sent an email to CO on sunday
He replied today(Monday) as

Dear Mr Gillgee,

Thank you for your email. Your checklist has been updated to reflect the
receipt of your form 80.

As previously advised, you will be contacted when the routine checking is
completed. Please avoid making further status enquiries - we are
continually checking your application and will contact you if anything
further is required.

Your continued patience is appreciated.

I mentioned in my email to include Form 80 status on my documents Checklist,current status and whether the RIC is completed or not.

CO updated my Form 80 status and it's MET now as on 28 June 2010.Now all my documents are MET but Routine Checking is Not yet Complete....

Let's c when dat is over....Now it seems to me dat Security Checks/Internal checks don't depend on Form 80 or any other documentaion that we provide.Its DIAC own mechanisms.

i also got the same reply , my application is in routine processing since Feb 2010.

I got the below replay on 16th April 2010. till now i am waiting for hearing a good news from my CO. My most of the doc are showing met on 3rd March 2010 except my wife form 80 and 1221 and my photograph and marriage certificate. i have sent 4 mails (3rd May, 1st,8th and 22nd June) to my co but till now i did not get any replay from him.

Gillgee, When did you submit your Form 80?

Firstly on 30 Oct 2009 on Co request and then again on 16 Dec 2009 after some corrections on Co request.

So I submitted two times.....lastly on 16 Dec 2009..

I have raised two PLE and got same reply routine processing which takes several months. one PLE in March and other in April. I also called DIAC 2 weeks before and got same reply routine processing which will take several months or weeks.


can anybody tell me wat is "routine processing", is it some kind of documents verification or wat else????

2 days are left to start the new hopes for granting the new visa quota to the waiting applicants. hope for the best but the news from new PM is actually not good for the applicants..
