My brother applied in September 2009 and got grant in May`10...lot earlier than this guy....so his timeline doesn`t reflect the actual situation!

u r right dear. every case is processed differently so no body knows when he/she will get the grant from DIAC. But i think that Pakistani applicants are suffering than other HR countries. look at www.beupdate.co.uk. u will see that applicants from other HR countries got a no. of visas than Pakistani applicants.

FYI, my Pakistani friend in sydney got PR in Feb, he appled last May...

I am a July 2009 applicant from Pakistan and just got my Visa Grant today. Best of luck to all the Pakistani and other fellows waiting for their decisions.
