Travel bag is a good site, they give all available companies on the date and place you are looking to fly.
We've flown with Emirates they were brill and definately worth the extra they cost. Food gorgoeous flight smooth service excellent comfortable too.
We went with BA/Quantas year after absolutly crap!!! cold, food crap entertainment systems crap broke and didint hardly see a steward. Then in Feb this year we went with Virgin they were good, reasonable price but still not as good as emirates.
Friends have gone with singapore they reckon they were good best priced too it seems.
Hope this helps, i dont know what other peoples experiences have been but im sure they will let you know

Sam,
Yes always off to the sunshine coast.
We have friends out there who we have visited 3 times. We are heading for Bundaberg -where the rum is made- even purchased a plot of land 15 mins from where im going to work.
Well i say where im going to work, ive not had a reply from my last 2 emails to the hospital where i have a job offer.
Originally i was supposed to start in Sept but due to the DIAC & LCU delays obviously its not the case.
I emailed beginning of week to say my visa should be here within the week- which has turned into 2 weeks as always- no reply. :curse:
Bit worrying really but im a nurse so i should find work ok.
What about you? where you heading?
Teryna

We're off to the Gold Coast. We don't know where within the gold coast so we've got lots of exploring to do (we've researched area after area but we can't decide without seeing it first hand, we want to try and get it right first time!!)). SIL lives in Ipswich and we are staying with her until we find a rental or house to buy.
Fingers crossed that your visa comes this week then hun

When that golden ticket does arrive you will hear me scream im sure.
Im soooo hoping it will be this week although its me mum & dads 47th wedding anniversary on Sunday they are going away for weekend.
I bet it comes Friday just to dampen their celebrations.
Its my friend in Bundabergs 40th birthday too on Saturday was hoping to be there to help her celebrate but DIAC had other ideas.
O well back to sorting and taking photos of stuff to advertise for sale.
Ive done a folder in work which ive put photos of things for sale in youd be suprised what ive sold

Re: Marchies 07 - Organising the move!!!
Hi all,
this is getting very close to our last post, spent last three days cleaning things, ready for a final disinfection spray on tuesday before loading. nat has started packing cases and we have about 2 or 3 more tip trips to do, it is hard to believe what we have achieved in such a short space of time since getting visa, Spent 2 hours on phone yesterday with my mate from adelaide arranging a meet up at xmas at what will hopefully be our place in Redland bay area!! had street party on friday got very drunk, mind you champagne was nice lots of it!!!saying final goodbyes to best friends on friday night over a good hot curry and more champagne will be quite a difficult night we think even for a thick skinned rugby player like me
If we dont get a chance to post again good luck to you all where ever you end up and hope to here from you all as soon as we get connected in Oz.
All the best
Steve and Nat
