Thx in advance for reading thro'.

A BIG welcome to everyone - the March list is getting 'nice and fat'!!

We have been doing research for jobs as both of us are IT testers. Not sure about how many postitions for developers and designers roles, but I would assume there quite a few as we have been looking for test anaylst roles in WA, and there quite a few out there.

Thanks for the links S-j. I'm checking them out and seems like web developers are OK.
We'll know the rest when we get there.

O..in 3 months time, I'll be peeing in my pants, I think ....quite literally

Thanks Julie and Dave - am keeping my fingers crossed. Sorry abt the foot, Dave - hope it's not too painful.

BTW, after reading some of the posts above, it's finally dawning on me that there might be certain things that we'll need for the meds. What r they? I mean, what's this weight issue everyone's talking about (sorry if I appear dumb...appearances can be deceptive !! ). What r they strict abt? We're thinking of getting my dislocated arm operated on in the next 2 months. It's a minor operation, but wud that be a problem?

Ha.....the weekend's upon us almost - am I looking forward to it.
Have a gt weekend everybody,
Mini.

I'm off to UK to stay with the 'rents until visa is ready, but prob back before that as my Aus boyf is here :-( (haven't been together long enough to get visa through him)
Fingers crossed, the waiting is going to kill me I know!

I think i'm right in saying there's no need to worry about your arm op! I had torn cartilage in my knee removed over christmas (2nd time) but i'm hoping that it's classed as an accidental thing!! rather than an illness -it's not an illness or anything serious is it? it's fixing!

Gak,

I've heard when they do your medicals they check everything even your BMI. I am fit and healthy but I could just do with losing some weight to get my BMI down, but after accident no squash or gym for a while.

I would off thought that your arm will be ok as per Sammyg's reply. I think its more your general health and costs to the goverment if you are on any medication.

Also been very busy sorting the house doing some decorating which needs doing, buts thats going to have to stop for a while.

Does anybody have idea when we should get some one round to evaluate the contents for shipping? Its a 2 bedroom Bungalow we will not be taking everything?

Dave

We sent our application off again today.

Still hoping around , I have been told off by the neighbour as I should have the foot up and resting, but I'm one of those that cant keep still.

Julie is looking around the fourms about the meds and it seems there is mixed information about doctors reports that some panel doctors want and some dont. Not really worry about that just yet, as we still have a long way to go.

Dave ( only one this time, had a stuttttter last time)..
