Hi Guys,
Update on the stolen purse saga. The PE dept got hold of all the boys that were in the class yesterday and with the powers of persuation that the PE dept seem to have
they coughed up with the girls name within 12 seconds! My suspicions were correct. She's been excluded and has a panel meeting with the local education authority this week as she's a basket case and close to being chucked out anyway. I'm told will be the staw for her camels back so there's a strong chance she wont be coming back to school.
She'll be 'negotioated' to another school.
Anyway, managed to phone Adelaide last night and the guy said they'll just email me for a new credit card number. So fingers crossed all should be OK and I can stay a Marchie
Haven't updated the spreadsheet for a day or so - will do that tonight and let you know.

i once had my car keys stolen out of my bag and i work in a blinkin infant school! Obviously they didn't nick the car
and we found the villain, but the stress it caused!

So glad to hear that they caught the little cow, at least if she gets transferred to another school you won't have to deal with her again. Perhaps they should bring back the cane it may just deter the little sh!!ts.

Can any one tell me whether there's any demand for web designers/programmers/content writers in Aus? We researched some, and it seems to be an OK thing - but wud like to know some more. Any idea what kind of salary we can look for?
Also, does anyone know anything about the education standards there? The costs and kinds of schools etc? We have 2 children - one in the 2nd std and the other in the 5th. Dunno if we'll be able to afford the expenses etc..

Somewhere on the main australia or barbie forum there's a loooong tread about education some people rate it, some don't. Working in primary education, myself, i can't wait to be freed from league tables that restrict the child's well being and confidence!! anyway, i could go on and that's the reason i held myself back from the tread!!
There are private and state schools and more children go to private there, than here, because it's cheaper! but, we'll be sending our treasure to a good state school.

Working in primary education, myself, i can't wait to be freed from league tables that restrict the child's well being and confidence!! anyway, i could go on and that's the reason i held myself back from the tread!!
There are private and state schools and more children go to private there, than here, because it's cheaper! but, we'll be sending our treasure to a good state school.
