Took your advice bout USA. Definately not heading there, although its so tempting when they're basically offering anything for us to go. Well my mind is made up, ain't nothin changing it now!

you are damm right I was in the same boat theyve put me in for 3 weeks full time for my last weeks I only work 28hrs usually. Ive got a weeks holiday for xmas though. I had 4 weeks to take but managed to get 2 weeks in end of november. They had better pay me its all I can say plus flexi money.
Do you think we will be happy in our new jobs Im getting nervous about that aswell. Its going to be hard for me being tied to a ward again I love the community. I just hope they let me drop my hours after a few months.
xx Trudi

O Trudi,
Im sure we will be fine they are a little more liad back in Oz.
Plus very very family focused you will be fine.Have you visited any of the hospitals out there. I went to visit 2 in Bundy in Feb they are a lot more relaxed on the ward indeed in all the hospital even day patients and visitors dont rush about the same.
We will have to stay in touch so we can compare a?
Im just writting the couple of xmas cards for the girls out of 110 staff im only giving 3!! i think the unit is too big plus most of the girls have left i got on with 2 have become community nurses and loving it.
