hiya to everyone else, been some time i know and i have missed all the chat, but cant even begin to tell you all what it feels like when you know you only have so many weeks left and everyone wants a piece of you, you'll know when the time comes, well we should have been flying out to oz yesterday, only we picked some stupid person to try and be our solicitor and we are probably looking at it being another 4/5 weeks before we can complete on our house sale, good job our flights wernt booked, we are maybe hanging on until we exchange on the houseon getting them, my advice get it sold as soon as, waiting on the visa will be no problem compraed to waiting for the house to go through,
chat soon and good luck to you all x

Morning everyone,
I emailed my agent this morning to ask if there is a chance i may go straight to visa grant.ever hopeful me clutching at straws
she tells me today there will be no suprises for me because i have to pay the $100.000 bond and i have to pay that before i get granted a visa. :curse:
she is trying to get me a case officer she says an as its the weekend now i just got to wait till next week !!
o my god i just cant cope with this its driving me insane.
I cant sleep, im eating like it going out of fashion and feel like crap everyday.
Am i alone with these feelings, or am i really going insane.
Looking for that allusive visa takes over my every waking hour.
Who'd have thought it would have been like this a? All the reading around the process and the watching of television programmes encouraging us to apply.

o well moan over

im going back to bed worked nights last night, got up to check the emails just for a change.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE FOR NEXT WEEK
and hope we all have a good weekend.
Cheers
Teryna

Teryna,

got some news for you chick... Those feelings dont go away, just something else takes its place hon unfortunatly... for us its the stress of leaving family but the bottom line is we want it.. it dosnt matter how long or what it takes we just want it badly. So we just put up with it and when we finally get there we will be able to put it all behind us and let another stress take over our lives!!

I know its gone from the stress of making the decision to apply, to all the form filling and evidence collecting that seemed to be endless. Then getting job offer, to the selling of the house,so that we had bond money in our case. Then medicals and pcc's it just goes on and on!!
Then i suppose i can look forward to the stress of telling family- if and when - visa granted. Saying good-bye to family and friends then finding accomadation over there. Then starting my new job worrying about the kids. I know they are older but i still worry!
Oh my god think i best get the st johns wort into me think i may be feeling as low as this for a while yet then.
and another thing while in work last night one of the girls asked me what would i do if i got refused, i hadnt really thought about it but as time is going on and i become less postive the thought just made me want to cry. My world would just fall apart ive been living this for so long ive never considered rejection ive always been so positive.
O please DIAC dont reject me it dont bare thinking about.

Im going to do my ironing i think or shall i sit in the sun and read, decisions desisions
Cheers

Hi WV wondered where you been today.
Im trying to finish the ironing and cook tea ready for the games to begin.
We love the ruggers the one thing OH says he will miss the most about uk.
We have decided to go to Cardiff for the pub atmosphere on 15th
Wales v Australia ! did contemplate getting tickets £100 each bit steep that love wales but £200 is about $480.00 maybe !!
Im sticking with the cider im afraid tonight cant decide magners or strongbow. Common mare me, im not allowed wine im intolerant to it ive just recently found out.
Its a good way to forget the waiting game a.
enjoy

Sophjam,
Thanks for that you are kind.
Im trying to stay positive and not let it get to me but.
Ive started my diet today ive been looking at photos of our 3 visits to oz and you can see how each year ive grown
Ive just come back from town just called down for a couple of things bumped into 3 sets of friends and my hairdresser.
Guess what they said 'you still here'
how many times do i here that? then i have to explain about the backlog at DIAC and the influx of applications. The fact that im going for a perminant visa not tempory because they always know someone who has got out there quicker. i think i will make a tape recording of why we havent gone yet then just play it evertime someone asks! What do you think?
You just cant get way from it can you.

Im on nights tonight lovely, im a nurse too dont you just love the shifts. thanks again for the kind words
Cheers

wow so much happened

congratulations to all those who've had babies, visas, case officers and those that have sold houses

nothing happening here, been staying off all the australia forums a while, been on a bit of a downer, after the high of getting our visa everything seems to have halted, house been on market a month and we only had one viewer, so say we are gutted is a understatement!! am in panic mode now worrying it wont sell and all our plans are going to go to pot!!

kids keep asking me "when we going to australia mummy?" they are as excited as the prospect that we are but dont understand that we arent going anywhere til the house is sold

am hoping things will pick up now the kids back to school regards selling the house, if we dont get some viewers soon i really dont know wot we gonna do

s-j hope u feel better soon

am off to wander round me house see if theres anything we can change to make it more appealing

good luck everyone this week still waiting, i will be keeping my fingers crossed you all get some good news
