Yep, just a bit.......
Lost 33lb now since we arrived. over 1/2 way there & feeling a lot fitter as out exercising 4 times a week, at least. Got a little 'tan' too and feel alive again. xxx
KOH, glad your shipping is off now, not long to go. We did our 3mths in last week and it feels great! Good luck.

SJ cant believe youve been there 3 months - flown by...
packing went well, koh was scaring me re the box sizes, i couldnt sleep for thinking we had to fit everything in 9 boxes...my maths are officially better than koh's now!
got a day 2 catch my breath then in hosp for my next op on friday..
seen & chasing a nice house in adelaide, sorted a 'cheap' car for arrival, getting real now

Sounds good at your end now, this is the best bit & it goes really quickly. Be super organised! Us women are always better when it comes to packing and guessing volume!
Well chick, good luck for the op. thinking of you. xxx S-j xxx

Excuse me it might only have been one box if it was a 70 cubic foot box, or 10 boxes at 7 cubic feet per box, or 8 boxes at 8.75 cubic feet per box you do the maths my dear it was roughly 8 boxes at my calculations of approx 9 cubic feet per box thank you.
The amount of boxes depends upon the actual size of the boxes doesnt it !!!!

BIG CONGRATS TO WARDY....that's it now then???
Bloody hell SJ...33lb, have you chopped an arm and leg off??
Well done chic!!
I've just had a really sad leaving assembly at work...150 kids sang a song about 'Mrs XXXXX is leaving us, she is going to aus......we will miss her'.... to say i cried is an understatement!!
They gave me all sorts of gifts including a really posh silver charm bracelet, with a kangaroo on, a koala on and an 's' on for the name of school. Then a child from my class gave another one which was a dragon (our class was called the dragons)....and then when i opened my card i had a cheque for 100 quid
I've had a lovely but sad day!!
we are out again tonight. We have eaten out with friends and family every single night for the last 2 weeks!!!! When we get to aus we will look like weeble wobbles!!
3 days to go

WooooHoooo!!! Just heard the great news about Wardy's visas CONGRATULATIONS
Congrats to everyone else I've missed who got their visas over the last few weeks, I've been decorating night and day to get the house on the market so hardly time to log in and check up on goings on.
Can't wait to meet some of you now down under in Perth, it will be the icing on the cake to share a glass (or 6 !!!) of Aussie vino and share migration stories!!
Love to all

Re: March Applicants
Thanks forall the well wishes fellow marchies, it wasnt until WV pointed it out that a marchie got a visa in march one year since the thread started it seems appropriate somehow.
Just got to sell the house and we are off we were due to be heading to Cairns, but plans have changed.
OH has job offers in Perth so we are going to take the easy option for us and head there itlooks fantastic so i'm sure I won't be disappointed with our decision.
Glad you are feeling so fit and well S-j and that everyone is doing ok.
Good luck to everyone who has sold or is still selling the house.
We have to be in Perth by May 16th just hope we don't have to return to sell the house and we can get rid before then.
I have even posted an ad in the classifieds for those who have moved back to the UK you never know
speak soon
