Exclamation MARA Cease the registration

What does it means by ceasing the registration of agent as i currently have my application to DIMIA, what about the status of application currently in progess.

I am just checking the the MARA registered agents and wonder to see that my agent name does not exist anymore in register, when I see the last 12 Month cease list its in this list from the last month.

Is my application automatically out of the contract and should i revoke her authorization

Thanks for your response

Hi Tiger,

If your agent is no longer registered she is not authorised to give you advice. She might still be taking steps on your case, however, and it seems that DIMIA don't police, at case officer level, the status of the representative. You should therefore contact DIMIA to advise them that you're no longer represented. With respect to your contract I have no idea what you've signed so can't help.

Cheers,

George Lombard
