It's gonna be tight for the seminars, there's only going to be 100 admitted to each one.

Well I'm screwed!!! There are no timeslots available which allow me enough time to go to the Queensland seminers.

Oh well, guess I'm not going then..

It's between a rock and a hard place. I've booked in for 10.15, thought that would give me enough time to get in and sorted and then sit in on the Qld seminar. Especially as they are saying if it's busy they will be asking people to leave after 2 hours.
Then received a mail yesterday that states you can't reserve a place on the seminars, tickets will be available at the venue and limited to 100 people per seminar!

His job isn't on the skills list but speaking to people there are loads of jobs on the rigs - fingers crossed

Hi, Brisbane is brill, I met people there in 1993 when i did the WHV and have been back a few times since as we all keep in touch. My husband is flying down On Sat afternoon for the Sunday show, his appointment is 9.45, just need to sort out a hotel for him. Hopefully he will get his Rpl off shortly there seems a lot to complete in the Rpl, 17yrs exp is a lot of writing, although he has only been doing the oracle side of it now for approx 12mths, which is all you need for the Modl extra points, hence the waiting till now, my Oh is 42 so really need to do it this year, Oh is not going to the Queensland seminar he is hopefull for the Victoria one as we know lots about Qld already so SA would be a 2nd option anyway, I believe the property etc is slightly cheaper.Fingers x for everybody.Did you manage to get flights booked,? I'm going to confirm hubbys today, will be BA from glasgow using the miles.Joanne

My husband is hoping to go to SA seminar on Sunday, booked time slot for 11.30, 1/2 hour before its due to start but not sure whether he will get tickets as only 100. Hopefully your husband will get to the Victoria one, the SA one runs straight after that one. Lynne

There's a travel lodge over by tower bridge and a travel inn by westminster bridge behind the aquarium which is very handy.
both resonable for london, but if your loaded there's plenty to choose from!

Going to be there on Saturday; I have an 11:30 slot. I hope it's worth spending a day on the train for... I spend too much of my life going to and from London for work as it is!

Hi, try the following http://www.londontown.com/ put a search in for Australia House and it will give you the hotels nearby and an idea how long it takes to walk. They vary in price but at least it gives you an idea of the ones that are nearby. Joanne
