Hi,

I just got my IELTS results today, my score was L:6, R:6.5, S:6, W:6 which is okay for me as I already got positive ACS skilled assessment as "J2EE Specialist", but unfortunately I read the thread about the expected MODL changes on Monday, so I would like to ask if I can lodge my application before Monday or it is better to wait?
Are IT occupations almost safe and are not going to be out of MODL or not?

I know it is difficult to answer this question, but I very worry about that and I don't know what to do?

No one can tell you what changes will be announced on Monday simply cos they haven't been announced yet .

First of all, congratulations on your IELTS score

You have waited this long so why dont you wait another 2 days to see what happens? None of us know what is planned and like you Im hoping that Nurses are still safe If not then I will have to have a rethink. But for now, im not worrying cos no amount of worrying will change the outcome

If you apply the biggest bad thing that could happen is to loose some money (application fee). If you don't apply, you can loose a chance that probably will not return.

If i was in your shoes, i definitely apply.

I recommend you to wait for two days. And instead of thinking to lodge the application please pray for our safe side

By the way I assume IT will remain there but still its a big worry.

What difference does it make? The application will not be lodged until the following business day anyway, which is Monday. Today is Sunday, so the DIAC offices are closed.

well you just have to wait for one day....tomorrow will decide the fortunes...... nothing can be said and it will be better that we shouldn't predict something as well......just pray to GOD and everything will be better....

Congrats folks....all the people who have already applied will not be affected by new GSM changes and MODL/SOL revocation. Kindly see at the news section of DIAC website.

although I am not too bad in reading but may be i am so exited thats why I need you to correct me.

According to new rule I am in safe side and my processing priorities remain as before. CO has asked me only PCC and Med. So I am in the final stage of processing. Am I right? Pls correct me if I am wrong. You can find my details in the signature.
