Not sure on that one. My husband had the three year ban thing. We went all over the world. We were a little worried about the USA, but all went smoothly.

I realise OP's friend's girlfriend may have good reason for wanting revenge. However, at what point does it become blackmail ? I realise going to the authorities about that defeats the object. However, is this threat going to hang until either he leaves Aus or the WHV expires and he leaves Aus in the future ?

You don't do a WHV together. Each person applies for their own visa seperate from each other. What you put on your application has nothing to do with me or what I put on mine. You would have no way of knowing what information I put on my application just as I would have no way of knowing what you put on yours.

Oh I understand that bit, my assumption was that she knew when he applied that he did so falsely, that's where I was coming from. But bottom line is that silly things like immature revenge on a broken relationship do no one any good, on either party....but then we all do silly things!

Not me.....never had to and neither did they. Even my ex wife and I parted on extremely good terms and there was no need for any revenge or spite between us. In fact to this day, 14 yrs later, we are very good friends.
